I like that this medication has been easy to manage as part of my treatment plan. In my experience, it has helped support better blood sugar control, and I also noticed changes in my weight over time. The results were not immediate, especially at the beginning, but I gradually started to see progress. Overall, I have been pleased with my experience with Ozempic under medical supervision.

It worked well for me overall, although I did experience occasional nausea. My healthcare provider helped me manage it, and the additional support made the experience more manageable.

For Type 2 Diabetes I've been on Ozempic for 4 weeks now, and I'm so glad my doctor took the time to sit me down and explain exactly what to expect. She even asked if I thought I could handle it. Then she made me a promise: if I could make it through the fourth week, things would get better. She was right. I was pretty sick those first two weeks. What I eventually figured out is that a lot of it came from trying to eat my normal amount of food. Once I caught on and started making my portions smaller, I felt so much better. I can practically guarantee that if I overate, I'd feel awful afterward. People aren't kidding about the side effects — they're real. But I made it through, and now I feel a little better with each passing day. I've lost 18 pounds so far, and I'm amazed. Yes, it can make you sick. But if you keep trying to eat the way you used to, it'll only be worse. You have to start listening to your body. You can't keep eating the same amounts and expect to lose weight.

I started Ozempic 9 months ago. At the time, I was a little over 200 lbs and had been taking metformin daily. Metformin had worked for me for almost 20 years, so it never crossed my mind that it might suddenly stop doing its job. For about three years, I kept gaining weight even though I was working out, and I assumed it was just my appetite getting the better of me. Then one day it clicked: the metformin was the real problem. I saw a new doctor, who switched me to Ozempic — and what a difference. Nine months later, I'm down 40 lbs, my A1C has dropped from 8.1 to 5.6, and aside from feeling full, I have virtually no side effects. The early symptoms didn't stick around either. Nausea, headaches, fatigue — they all faded within a week or two each time my treatment was adjusted. It can occasionally feel like constipation, but honestly, for me that's usually just a sign I haven't eaten enough. This drug almost feels too good to be true. I couldn't be happier with my experience so far.
